飲茶可減少尼古丁對人體的傷害

論文研究重點
•90%的α-9尼古丁受體( α9-nAchR )在單核細胞中減少表現,使減少粥狀動脈硬化風險。•在重度吸菸者的單核細胞中,觀察到尼古丁會誘發細胞形成泡沫細胞。
•茶葉可以降低單核細胞中,由尼古丁引起α-9尼古丁受體( α9-nAchR )細胞的泡沫化。
•飲茶可以有效的降低由吸菸所導致動脈粥樣硬化的單核細胞初始泡沫化。
Highlights
•Nearly 90% of the α9-nAchR protein was exclusively expressed in monocytes.•Nicotine-induced foam-cell formation was significantly observed in monocytes from heavy smokers.
•Tea consumption downregulated the monocytic α9-nAchR expression which that causes resist nicotine-induced foam cell formation.
•Tea-drinking effectively attenuates the initial step (foam-cell formation) of smoking-induced atherosclerosis in circulating monocytes.
整體來說,香菸中的尼古丁會增加白血球單核細胞「α-9尼古丁受體」表現,進而促進泡沫細胞形成、增加粥狀動脈硬化風險,而普洱茶可以減少抽菸者的α-9尼古丁受體表現,並減少粥狀動脈硬化發生。
